Ok Darkroom was fun...
Oh anyway...in case you were wondering why the posts are getting more and more irrelevant to photog...that's because I've decided to transform this into my life blog aka blogging about my life. Haha coz I find that if I were to blog on photog only...people like Mei Ling who try to probe into my life and stalk my daily activities...will be very bored. So I've decided to turn it into a lifeblog. Besides photography is a subset of life. And anyway I think it's good to record the minor/major events in my life so I can get emo about them when I'm surfing wifi using iTouch in Army next time. Hmm but do they have wifi in army camp? I think have maybe but must be only high ranking officers then can use. And I think can bring iTouch inside camp right? Not a photographic device. Hmmm...

While my iTouch just crashed...(and again!!!!)
Oh anyway...my mum bought an iPod Touch for me today. And it's totally awesome until the part when it crashed 2 times in a row during some stupid firmwire update. One moment I was praising Stevy, the next moment I was cursing Stevy. But. Stevy is still a genius afterall. I don't think I can live without an Apple. :( Hmm hope Stevy
I will be processing my Airport and random friends photos before the MJC pple head down to NJ for darkroom lessons by us (or rather me). Makes me nervy. :( Must practise more!

Nothing quite as powerful as Black&White
I'm back again, with some B&W photos from the Punggol trip on 29th Nov. Recently, I've been reading this photog book titled "Black & White Photography in the digital age" by Tony Worobiec & Ray Spence. Hence, a sudden interest in B&W photographs. Previously, or more accurately for the past 2 1/2 yrs, I didn't really give a damn about producing B&W photographs. Because I thought colours were nicer and also because I can't produce any good B&W photos. But after reading the book (I'm about 1/4 my way through), I started to think twice about B&W photographs.
As quoted from Andri Hery, "To see in colour is a delight for the eye, but to see in Black & White is a delight for the soul". I think I was really too distracted by the colours I forgotten to concentrate on the tones of the photograph. And Black & White made me truely see it. :)
Heh enjoy the pics!
